The Ming Dynasty is popular for its extremely long nails with mail guards which were gold and jewel-encrusted. Even so, all the eras did not use the nail art which of today. The first record of nail art was in Inca empire which at that time was one of the largest empires in South America during the 1400-1500. The first fancy good and silver manicure sets were created in 1770 and King Louis XVI always had his nails taken care of using these sets.
